Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The neighbourhood is quite safe, quiet and friendly. No noise issues, lots of grocery stores at stones away from the building. The tube station is just under 5 mins walk.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Daniella is a great building manager, she deals with issues promptly with an inclination to resolve it rather than just going by the book of rules. Lol

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The advantage of being around folks that are mostly single, working professionals. Isolate when working and socialise as much as you can.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Folk at the Palm House is a very modern and well looked after building. It really offers something for everyone with so many amenities nearby and excellent transport links. The high street is just around the corner and Euston is only 13 minutes away.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

On the few occasions where maintenance has been needed we’ve never had to wait too long and a resolution is always forthcoming.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One tip I would say is do come prepared with your own mini shelving and shoe storage as it can be a bit tight coming in/out of your entrance.

    Manager's response

Hi Hamish, Thank you very much for taking the time to write such a lovely review we really appreciate it. We are happy to hear you enjoy living at The Palm House and love the communal spaces and events.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

All facilities are very good. Repair & maintenace needs to be improved. Few facilities are not wroking properly since number of days.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have intercated a lot with with Daniella Ohora, she has been very good & understanding with the residents. She has a good urderstanding & expertise to deal with the emergency situations. Callum is also outstanding in organizing the events & he does take a great care for all the residents. All staff members are soft spoken & supports the residents as much as they can.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The verious sizes of the apartement & view from the window. It is bit costly considering the sizes of the studio.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Asda, Post Office, and Boots are only 5min away, and big Tesco - 10min away. A small park is just around the corner, with a large park 15min away. Best part - train station is just 5min away, and if you don't like taking the tube, the rail service will take you to Euston in 20min! So for restaurants and bars, most residents will go to central London via Euston.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Instantly, the team is very proactive, they even have a WhatsApp number, so you never feel disconnected. Plus, their app has everything you need - from booking equipment, repairs, reading news, signing up for events, or even checking your energy consumption.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Walls are soundproof - an amazing addition! However, windows are not super soundproof, so if you live below 5th floor in hot summer days - buy good earplugs :D Also, the kitchen has everything you might need, except a blender :/

    Manager's response

Hi Maria, Thank you so much for such a lovely review, we are so pleased you enjoy living at The Palm House.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I have lived at Folk House since July 2023 & I cannot recommend it enough. The station is such a short walk away from the building, there are plenty of amenities on the main road which again is only a short walking distance and easy to get to. Harrow shopping center is also a short walk. These features are great for someone who does not drive like myself. With my flat is situated, when the window is open it can be slightly noisy & during the summer with the terrace being open it can be slightly noisy also & again because of where my flat is situated for some reason cars also see to park up along the road and play loud music which is not the buildings fault but I think just based on where my flat is.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any problem or query I have raised the building management have been very helpful in getting it resolved very quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

My flat does look out onto a busy road and during the summer when I like to have my window it does get a bit noisy
