The secluded residence, approached from the extensive private drive via woodland and open fields, is a converted barn that blends harmoniously with its surroundings. Whilst agricultural in its origins, it is stylishly presented throughout its 3000+ square footage. With bedrooms and bathrooms on both the ground and first floors, there is a sense of privacy if being used as a large group.
This is a house for all seasons. The two wood burners make it cosy in the colder months, while the sheltered outdoor areas and veranda provide the perfect alfresco dining experience with the most enchanting views. There is plenty of space to come together in the entertaining areas and the French doors in the double-height dining hall frame the landscape beyond. The welcoming, yet striking hall is home to a snug area and a grand piano.

The adjacent kitchen comes with stone flooring, and bespoke slatted timber units, especially designed to reflect the home's natural style. For those eating in, there's a Belling electric range cooker with a five-zone ceramic hotplate and warming zone, grill, three further ovens and a warming drawer. A large American-style fridge freezer also accompanies the Hotpoint dishwasher.

The kitchen has three pairs of French doors opening out to the herb garden and veranda, which has witnessed many an evening toasting marshmallows over the fire pit!

The large reception room with its wood burner has open views through the French doors and leads to the first double bedrooms. Altogether, there are three double bedrooms, one twin room and two bathrooms on the ground floor, as well as a separate laundry room with a Miele washing machine and matching tumble dryer.

Outside

Guests have direct access to approximately four acres of fields and woodland, with a natural lake providing an exhilarating opportunity for wild swimming and beautiful walks from your back door. There is considerable parking available and an extensive patio provides plenty of room for the outside dining table with seating for 14 people.
