Description

Perched on the first floor of a modern apartment block in the heart of Stratford, this twenty-first-century home has three bedrooms, top-notch facilities and a vast, sun-trap terrace.

Brickworks Says - Contemporary design should enhance the urban experience, and this new development, beautifully green yet smack bang in the middle of Stratford, does just that. Set amongst two acres of landscaped gardens with all the perks of a well-designed apartment block, it feels like the future of city living.

Throw in abundant built-in storage, energy efficiency, underfloor heating, and an on-site gym, and you have a modern home that isn’t just comfortable but built for city life. But the cherry on the cake is the huge, private terrace, ideal for soaking up the rays and enjoying the surrounding cityscape.

Braithwaite House is in the middle of the action of this exciting and evolving part of the capital. Nearby East Village caters for every taste, and with the recent arrival of Bamboo Mat (our favourite new East Village restaurant), it continues to grow. But closer to home, you’re not short of options for eating out or getting a decent coffee fix. Pick up a coffee from Signorelli (another great coffee shop) down the road and head to the epic spaces of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, home to worlds of music, sports, and nature.

The Owners Say - Moving into this new, spacious flat with my best friend was one of the best decisions I've ever made––we’ve never looked back! Living in Stratford close to the stations makes travelling around London for work or play a breeze.

There is so much to do nearby; you are almost spoilt for choice. If I had to pick two things, it would be a weekend walk to Victoria Park (we'd highly recommend the food market on Sundays) or Hackney Marshes to get some air. Pick up a Hermanos coffee along the way, just a few minutes walk from the flat, or a delicious hot juice from Ginger & Mint in East Village. We've also loved walking down the canal to the Princess of Wales pub, our favourite local nearby (though I think that might be three things now).

The terrace is a bonafide sun trap, making it the perfect place to go out and enjoy the warmer weather. We've had a few really memorable New Year's Eve nights—watching the horizon light up with all the fireworks from dozens of shows across London—as well as hosting friends for summer parties. We've had the most amazing few years, and I'll be sad to say goodbye.
