Last year most property sales in Mid Wales involved detached properties which sold for on average £311,847. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £240,625, while terraced properties fetched £154,836.
Mid Wales, with an overall average price of £266,536 was more expensive than nearby North Wales (£226,780), South Wales (£233,136) and West Wales (£235,535). The priciest area within Mid Wales was Ceredigion (£264,043) and the least expensive was Powys (£254,657).
During the last year, sold prices in Mid Wales were 6% down on the previous year and 17% up on 2021 when the average house price was £226,998.
