Merseyside, with an overall average price of £216,536 was more expensive than nearby Lancashire (£201,946), but was cheaper than Cheshire (£308,610) and Greater Manchester (£259,316). The priciest area within Merseyside was Caldy (£1,242,556) and the least expensive was Walton (£126,227).
During the last year, sold prices in Merseyside were similar to the previous year and 3% up on 2021 when the average house price was £209,431.
