    Established in 2003, we traded very successfully for 10 years under license in the name of a well known local planning practice, our objective being to build alongside our residential and lettings and management businesses, a reputation within the land and new homes sector. In 2014 we then joined forces, again under license, with a well known Cotswolds based agency business.

    The estate agency world has however very much changed and it has become entirely about the people within it, their track records, their experience and local knowledge and critically whether they possess a tireless energy and enthusiasm, which surprisingly many agents do not. We have transacted nearly 3,000 sales over 15 years, plus thousands of lettings transactions in addition, so we have a very loyal following and clients use us again and again, as well as also recommending us to their family, friends and contacts of course.

    Gavin West, the company's founder has therefore now chosen to skew the whole company towards the people working within the business, most of whom tellingly have been here for 10 years, for it is they that have built the reputation of the business and it is they that Sellers, Landlords, Buyers and Tenants know and keep returning to as their agent of choice. WEST-The Property Consultancy will now be a more broad based business encompassing in addition, Commercial Property, Block Management and Property Auctions, and our reputation sees us handle property sales and letting across the city of Oxford and of course throughout the whole of the wider county of Oxfordshire and beyond
