      Well this is the embarrassing bit, mugshots of all of us but we are a good looking bunch. We are all well known faces in Whitby, Carolyn, Charlotte and myself (Nick) all worked at the same office for a number of years racking up an impressive 29 years experience for the same firm.

      At the start of 2015 I made the bold move to start my own agency but with the support from all the staff I know the business is going to be a great success and looking forward to a bright future in the property sector. 

      I really feel that teamwork is key in the modern world of Estate Agency combined with cutting edge technology and outstanding customer service. 

      We cover a wide range of property types and areas, so if you are thinking of buying, selling, letting or renting then call a member of the team and let us help you along with your property journey.

      NICK HENDERSON MNAEA MARLA - MANAGING DIRECTOR
      Nick is the managing director of the business and has a real passion for all things property. He has been working in the industry since his work experience days of 2004 on a part time basis, then full time from 2006 through the the current day.

      Nick loves his technology and being able to making finding your dream home a easy process. With marketing and presentation being one of the key elements he is a real stickler when it comes to professional photography and marketing strategy.   Nick is a pioneer in the Whitby Estate Agency scene and really sets the benchmark for new marketing ideas.

      Outside of work Nick enjoys bike rides with his friends or a nice meal in a pub if the weather is too cold. He also enjoys walks with his wife and their little dog, Valentina (Tini) a French Bulldog throughout the local area.

      CAROLYN RHEA MARLA - LETTING MANAGER
      Carolyn spent the major part of her life in senior administration initially as a Hotel Receptionist and then several years as Practice Manager of a Dental Surgery. 

      Having taken a few years away from work to raise a family, she was asked by a local Land Agent to take over the day to day running of a private estate. This involved not only property management but also country pursuits and liaising with corporate clients. She held this position for 14 years and was then headhunted by a local estate agent to initially assist and subsequently manage the residential lettings department having become a member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents. 

      A further 14 years later I asked her to join my new company. Outside of work you will find Carolyn tending to her immaculately presented garden, she still has not been to my house yet, despite being given the address on a number of occasions!

      KARIN HENDERSON - PROPERTY CONSULTANT
      Karin originally only came to the office to cover for one day, however she loved the job so much that she now works in the office 5 days a week.   Being Nick's mum she already knew the team and has fitted in very well indeed.

      Karin enjoys finding the right property for the right person and you can guarantee that when Nick lists a property Karin has already phoned 3 clients for which thinks the property will be suited to.

      Karin has a great drive and you can see that she really enjoys the job, so much so that she worked for free for several months.   Outside of work Karin and her husband Graham have spent the last two years transforming a cottage, which has just won the coveted LABC regional and national award in the London Grand finals for the best alterations to an existing home out of the whole of England and Wales.

      CHARLOTTE WHITEHEAD - PROPERTY CONSULTANT
      Charlotte started working in the property industry in 2009 as a receptionist having working as a trained florist previously. Charlotte started with no experience in residential sales or even an office environment but quickly got to grips with the job. She progressed to more of a secretarial role and completed an NVQ in Residential Sales in 2014, she has now began studying for the Technical Award to become a licensed member of the NAEA. 

      Charlotte has a real passion for all things property and is keen to keep building upon the skills she has in both administration and customer service. 

      Outside of the office you will find Charlotte spending time with her younger brother and sister, listening to music, reading, cooking or eating.

      MARTIN THISTLE - PROPERTY CONSULTANT
      Martin or 'Mart' as he likes to be called joined the team in early April 2015 and is keen to help customers find their dream property. He is a local lad from a prominent Whitby family and has an extensive knowledge of the Town and surrounding rural areas. 

      He has a real love for cars and if he can sell houses like he buys cars, then he will prove to be a real asset indeed.   Since initially writing this little bio Martin has owned an astonishing 11 cars and I am sure by the time we have uploaded this advert he will onto another one.

      Outside of work you will find Martin cleaning his car or shopping for some new clothes (not easy when you are 6'5").

      ISABEL JOWSEY - LETTINGS CONSULTANT
      Isabel started working at Hendersons in October 2016.   She is assisting Carolyn with our busy rental department but is currently undertaking her NVQ in Business Development to progress the Residential Lettings department even further.

      Isabel is a natural when it comes to customer service and after being in a front of house role for the last 5 years has fitted in very well with the Hendersons team.

      Outside of work Isabel is usually kept very busy with her luxury holiday lodge retreats which she runs with her Husband who manages and maintains the 6 acre site.

      SAMANTHA TEASDALE - MORTGAGE ADVISOR
      Samantha or Sam as she likes to be know is our own in house mortgage advisor.   Offering whole of market mortgages.   You don't even have to be buying a property through Hendersons to access all Sam's knowledge.

      You might even just want a current review of you Mortgage, who knows you might even be able to knock a few years off your term or reduce your payments.   Either way just call the office and we will arrange a suitable appointment.

      Outside of work Sam and her Husband James have two children who enjoy rugby and horse riding but not at the same time.
