Casa Pontis is a spacious 3 bedroom apartment of around 130 sq.mt. located in the historic centre of Arpino, just inside the ancient stone gates. Positioned at the start of the main Corso, the apartment enjoys excellent road access. Arpino is a charming medieval hilltop town, only 90 minutes from Rome and Rome's airports.

Casa Pontis occupies the second floor of a three story building; however the third (top) floor is a much smaller apartment recessed back from the front of the building, so that, looking at the property from the street, Casa Pontis appears to be the top floor and its balconies are not overlooked.

A well-lit flight of internal stairs running up at one end of the building accesses the entrance into this attractive home. To the left of the entrance hall is a spacious double living room, with a balcony overlooking the Barnabiti park.

To the right of the entrance hall is a large although rather dated kitchen with windows into an internal light well and also looking at the exposed rock of the hillside to the rear of the property.

ARPINO AND THE CIOCIARIA

Arpino is one of the major medieval hilltop towns in the area of Italy called the Ciociaria, the name given to the fertile land that lies south of Rome but north of Naples, situated inland in the hills in the heart of Italy.
