Description

Developed in 2020 and bought as new, The Long Barn is an attractive single storey property with brick, flint and part timber clad elevations under a pitched tiled roof. Developed to a high quality of finish by a local reputable developer, The Long Barn has a lovely outlook over unspoilt land, with sensibly configured accommodation with a magnificent vaulted kitchen/dining/living room with a wood burning stove and two bi-fold doors on the east side opening onto paved terrace areas. The accommodation is light and bright and has a well fitted kitchen with a Bosch Calor Gas hob, a dishwasher and a fitted fridge/freezer. Other attributes include a pressurised water system, double glazing throughout and attractive engineered oak flooring in the hall, kitchen/living room and utility room. The property also has the benefit of an NHBC warranty (circa 6 ½ years remaining) and has electronically controlled sky lights in the principal reception room.
The property is approached from the lane over a gravelled drive leading to a paved area flanked by a garage and car port constructed of brick with a clay tiled roof with an electric charging point. There is space over which would give room for an office subject to the usual consents. The Long Barn is approached via a paved path with evergreen hedging flanked by two pear trees. There is an attractive rose pergola leading to the Shepherds Hut (available by separate negotiation). The majority of the garden is laid to lawn bordered by post and rail fencing. There is a small area with two raised vegetable beds. There is a Management Company that is primarily responsible the upkeep of the drive shared between the three dwellings.

Services: Mains water, electricity and a shared treatment plant (costs shared between the three dwellings). Heating by LPG gas with a shared tank which is individually metered for the three properties.
