Lochview is situated just outside the mid Argyllshire village of Ardfern which is located on the pretty sheltered shores of Loch Craignish which is about 15 miles to the north of Lochgilphead and about 24 miles to the south of Oban.

From Glasgow follow the A82 west to Loch Lomond. At Tarbet Loch Lomond follow the A83 through Arrochar and Inveraray to Lochgilphead. At Lochgilphead follow the A816 north sign posted Oban. Ardfern is a turning on the left hand side approximately 15 miles north of Lochgilphead. Follow the road leading into Ardfern passing the Galley of Lorne Inn, proceed out of Ardfern on the B8002 for circa 1 mile before turning right, proceed up the minor road to then find Lochview on your left hand side.
