This home benefits from heating, double glazing throughout and has one double bedroom housing a maximum of two people. It also has communal gardens and communal parking. Parking is offered on a first come first served basis. Our properties are unfurnished with no carpets, curtains, furniture, or white goods. Offers will be subject to affordability checks and references. The successful applicant will be required to pay a minimum of one weeks rent in advance before you sign up. Our schemes are for applicants with the age requirement of 55+ only. All household members must meet this age criteria.
The scheme is made up of 41 Units over 4 floors within the building served by 2 lifts and several stairwells. The properties are heated by electric storage heating. Electric meters are situated within a communal meter room, access to this can be granted by the on-site Retirement Living Officer for health and safety reasons. Electricity is the resident's responsibility to set up and pay separately to the service charge. Mobility scooters will need to have permission granted before signing up and a risk assessment will need to be undertaken.
There is 1 communal lounge within the scheme. The lounge houses comfortable seating, books and games, there is a small kitchen area within to make teas and coffee. The lounge is also predominately used for large events such as Birthday parties, Christmas, and special occasions. Within the scheme, situated on the ground floor, there is a communal laundry room consisting of 2 washing machines and two dryers.

Within a 5-minute walk of the scheme are several local shops including food outlets, a post office and local co-op. If you walk a further 5-10 minutes you will reach the main town centre and there are also transport links via bus. There are also several GP surgeries in the surrounding area and within a 10 minute walk from the scheme.
