Description

Location Sheringham is a delightful small town in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the North Norfolk coast, nestling between the sea and Pretty Corner woods. The town is a popular holiday destination and the centre has an excellent range of independent shops and supermarkets. There are excellent schools for all ages including many public schools within a few miles. There are bus and rail links to the bustling city of Norwich and the nearby towns of Holt and Cromer. There is a modern health centre, dentist, theatre and library together with the 'Reef' Leisure Centre and a magnificent 18 hole cliff top golf course.

Sheringham also boasts some excellent coastal and woodland walks in the vicinity. The beach enjoys a blue flag status and is a mix of shingle and sand depending on the tide, with a wide promenade running the length of the town. The town hosts several events throughout the year including the Viking Festival, Crab and Lobster Festivals, Coast Air Festival, Carnival and 1940's Weekend and the North Norfolk Steam Railway attracts many visitors.

Seacliff is situated on the East cliff , close to the coastal path and approximately half a mile from the shops. Steps leading to the promenade and beach are close by.

Description This superbly appointed, end-terraced house, is all about the views! Built in the 1930's, it was an example of 'Streamline Moderne' architecture, designed to make the most of the everchanging sea from as many rooms as possible. When purchased by the current vendors, they added a contemporary, stylish twist to the interior. During the refurbishments, the vendors increased the insulation in the walls, renewed the roof, added sound insulation to the floors and party wall, re-wired, re-plumbed, re-plastered throughout and added a new kitchen, bathroom, shower room, utility/cloakroom. They extended the ground floor and added marine grade aluminium bi-fold doors giving access to the terrace from the open plan family room and to the balcony from the principal bedroom. The remaining windows were changed to powder coated aluminium double glazing and zonal gas central heating was added.
The property is arranged over three floors with the utility/cloakroom and kitchen/family room on the ground floor, the generous principal bedroom, balcony, bedroom 3 and shower room on the first floor, artist studio/bedroom 2, bedroom 4 and bathroom on the second floor.
