Charming Boutique Hotel with a total construction area of approximately 1,200 square meters and an outdoor area of 400 square meters, also boasting a banana plantation spanning 1,000 square meters. It features a cozy and elegant restaurant, exclusive to guests, and a leisure area that includes a relaxing poolside space where guests can enjoy a refreshing dip or choose to wander through the banana plantation, providing an idyllic spot for rest or reading during their stay.
The common areas are located on the ground floor, with the reception, lobby, bar, and TV room, all granting access to the outdoors. On the first floor, one can find the restaurant and access to the garden. The rooms are organized into three categories: premium, deluxe, and standard, spread over various floors with diverse layouts.
The Farm Azores Boutique House exudes a familial, warm, and sensory atmosphere inspired by rural nature, with a unique garden and the vast Atlantic on the horizon, embedded with traditional references. It presents a contemporary vision and design, where organic materials seek the attention and rest of its occupants. The color palette is varied, drawing inspiration from the lush island vegetation, banana plants, their flowers, and fruits, as well as the local fauna, flora, and their derived products.
The pre-existing structure was pivotal in shaping the project's concept for The Farm's interiors. The memory of a visit to the house and the island managed to establish a harmony between both. Therefore, the idea for interior design is rooted in the layers observed on the Island. The volcanic base that forms the ground for the vegetation rising to the sky. The three atmospheres created for the building's interior unfold similarly. The ground floor evokes a volcanic, intimate, and sculptural ambiance filled with texture and dim, delicate lighting. The first floor is reminiscent of 19th-century countryside homes. Lastly, the second floor is an ode to past lives, to Azorean houses rich in color and unashamed contrasts, brimming with freedom of expression and dreams.
Amid the vastness of the Atlantic, nature has crafted an archipelago of endless harmony. Whether diving into the profound blue, wandering through breathtaking landscapes, or embarking on thrilling adventures, the Azores are the world's first archipelago certified as a sustainable tourist destination and have been experiencing exponential growth in recent years.
