The hall continues to the second bedroom with en suite bathroom, again with a lockable toilet and shower. In front of the bedroom, stairs lead up to the potential third bedroom, a very large room with a door to the quinta's courtyard including the swimming pool.

The second house, yet to be renovated, is connected to the somewhat higher garage by a number of steps. Currently, the second house is used for storing bicycles, tools and wood 'from the garden' for the " Godin" oven. Between the 2 houses this house has an enclosed garden.

The separate ruin with a floor area of 80 m2 is formally used for storage and lies between the buildings of the other owners in the hamlet. Attached to this ruin is a plot of 1.8 ha, which runs uphill from here towards the old ruined 'Castelo de Alferce', one of the most beautiful viewpoints on Monchique.

Alferce is a small municipality on the Monchique mountains with beautiful scenery and, recently, a beautifully landscaped boardwalk from the village to the Castelo (at the top of this plot). The village has a few cafes and a mini-supermarket. For the real shopping you drive in 15 minutes to the town of Monchique with various amenities and a large supermarket. To the coast you drive in 40 minutes and to Faro airport takes just over an hour.
