This cottage is circa 1810 and has always been a family home. Fully restored and finished in October 2017, it was supervised by award winning conservation architect Michael Healy. A newly thatched roof with a lifespan of circa 20 years and two attic spaces. The cottage has lovely timber flooring throughout, with tiles in the extension. Over 100 square meters of mature garden with trees, flowerbeds and spacious new garden shed (2023) with independent office/workspace fully tiled with a toilet. This little gem of a cottage is finished to a high standard while still maintaining some of the original features.
Situated in the historic village of Adare, it is a peek into 19th Century Ireland and contains some of the finest and rare examples of religious and medieval history. It is a friendly town with a variety of cafes, pubs, award winning restaurants and boutiques as well as the newly refurbished five star Manor Hotel and The Dunraven Arms Hotel. There is also a wide range of sports clubs in the area including GAA, soccer, equestrian centre and golf clubs.
Only 15 minutes from Limerick city, Limerick is a large city and boasts a major retail hub with a multitude of high end and high street stores as well as three universities. Limerick is also the home to major sporting facilities, such as Munster Rugby at Thomond Park, GAA sports and clubs, horseracing at Limerick Race Course and a selection of major golf courses in the vicinity. It boasts some of the world's leading pharmaceutical, medical devices and business hubs such as Raheen and Castletroy.
