Casa Cauta is located in the heart of the historic center of Arpino, a medieval hilltop town only 90 minutes drive from Rome, on the Via Caio Mario which bears the name of an important Roman commander and consul. It is just 50 meters from the main square of the town, the "Piazza Municipio" (where there are to be found the Church of St. Michael the Archangel, the Classical high school and several bars and shops) and is near the ancient" Fountain of L'Aquila ", the emblem of the city.

The property currently needs complete restoration and is being sold fully restored on a "turnkey basis". That is to say that the purchase price includes the restoration, and the building works contract will be signed as part of the purchase documents. Restoration work will begin immediately after agreement is reached with the purchaser and there will be a schedule of stage payments. The purchaser will be able to have input into the final lay-out and finishes of the property, and if requested, will be able to obtain binding quotations to vary fittings and finishes.

The property consists of four floors:

From the terrace you can admire the "Church of San Girolamo" and the "Tower of Civitavecchia".

ARPINO AND THE CIOCIARIA

Arpino is one of the major medieval hilltop towns in the area of Italy called the Ciociaria, the name given to the fertile land that lies south of Rome but north of Naples, situated inland in the hills in the heart of Italy.
