what is ergo?
ergo is a space to house big ambitions. A unique collaboration between East Riding of Yorkshire Council and the University of Hull to support businesses in the renewables sector. ergo provides an environment for businesses working in the same space, both literally and metaphorically. Where shared challenges, problem solving and links with research meet; ergo is a place to really help your business gather momentum.

A space designed for the way we work today, ergo offers versatile and flexible offices and workspaces to suit you, the size of your business and the style of your working. It has all the essentials including great meeting spaces. Whether its an ad-hoc private chat or a big group getting together ergo's conference space is adaptable, which, combined with the social area, creates a truly moderns workplace.

The café and communal spaces will give you and your team the opportunity to meet for lunch and provides a space where you'll get to know your neighbours at ergo and the wider Bridgehead Business Park.

ergo offers high quality, flexible accommodation to let on monthly terms in a range of sizes.

The unique partnership between East Riding of Yorkshire Council and the University of Hull will give you the opportunity to make important links to grow your business by accessing academic expertise and business support. ergo will provide a range of innovations led services to businesses including commercialisation, knowledge exchange, research, supply chain linkages, collaboration and networking, business mentoring, information, advice and guidance.

Terms of Occupation
The offices are let on a Licence Agreement - available on 'easy-in, easy-out' terms (terminable on the giving of one month's notice) and subject to an annual review with the business centre manager or on-site business advisor.

Rental
Monthly licence fee payable by direct debit; details on application. Deposit payable equivalent to the monthly licence fee

Uses
Suitable for a wide variety of office based businesses with a particular focus in renewables or the environmental technology sector. Retail, vehicle repair and/or maintenance, car trade or related businesses are not permitted.

Repairs & Maintenance
Licence holders are responsible for the internal upkeep & decoration of their office only.

Business Rates & VAT
Business rates are not included. Small business rate relief (SBRR) can be applied for with East Riding of Yorkshire Council. There is no VAT payable on the licence fees at ergo.

Conference & Meeting Space
The generously sized meeting room is capable of holding a maximum of 80 delegates (smaller rooms are also available to hire). The provision of a fixed projector and screen and internet access are available and included within the hire charge. Refreshments & catering can be provided by the onsite café and arranged upon request.

Viewings
Viewings are available during office hours 9am-4pm.
