A rather interesting 'designer' project from the 1970s  in Chianti

Planned and built by Roberto Monsani, a famous architect and designer of the time of celebrated Tuscan villas, whose archive was requested by the Faculty of Architecture of Florence. Roberto Monsani was also the designer of the interiors of some of the Salvatore Ferragamo stores.
Sitting in a dominant position in the Chianti hills, close to Greve, this beautiful home is featured in several architectural publications and was acclaimed as 'a rare example of almost unreal sculptural perfection'.

Inspired by the Bauhaus school and the modernist movement, the property is a series of light and open spaces; some divided by in-built furniture divisions with large glass 'walls' looking out on the countryside as if a continuation of the accommodation. Some of the furniture is designed by the same architect.
