Los Narejos is a residential area forming part of Los Alcazares. It sits on the edge of the Mar Menor, Europe's largest salt water lagoon and offers 7 kilometres of coastline from Los Narejos itself, to Punta Brava. Just before Cartagena is the Espacio Mediterraneo shopping mall which is open every day. The popular La Zenia Boulevard, near Orihuela, is just 20 minutes away and close by in San Javier is the newly expanded Dos Mares shopping centre. Los Alcazares has 2 big street markets each week selling a wide selection of fresh local produce as well as household goods and clothes etc.

Bike hire is available in Los Alcazares and Taxis are plentiful. There is a bus route which connects to the main towns of the area. The nearest train stations are in Balsicas - 15 minutes away, or Murcia City.
Roda Golf and Beach Resort is 5 minutes away and there are numerous other top class courses in the area including Serena Golf, Mar Menor Golf Resort, La Torre Golf Resort, Las Colinas, Saurines, Hacienda Riquelme, Peraleja and El Valle.
San Javier airport is a 10 minute drive and Alicante 55 minutes.
