Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There's so many good things about living at Mustard Wharf, From lots of yoga and pilates studios both on site and on nearby roads. There are great cafe's and coffee shops around with different vibes depending on your mood! It's also quiet whilst being so close to the city.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We had some issues with our boiler, microwave and lights that were tripping, all were sorted out very promptly

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The parking situation could be better, more spaces and maybe utilising the parking lot on globe road

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is amazing, so close to the city center but also still very peaceful and quiet with lots of lovely restaurants and bars and cafes on our doorstep. Less than a 5 minute walk from the train station which is ideal for work commute.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

All the maintenance team have been really helpful and efficient with any issues we’ve had. They are quick to come and solve the issues and are friendly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew more about all the great discounts you can get while being a resident here, you can get some great deals on some of the bars and restaurants around here which was a lovely bonus we found out once we moved in

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Perfect location in what is probably the nicest part of Leeds - a short walk from the city centre and next to both the canal and a good range of restaurants and coffee shops. Leeds train station is also only a couple of minutes away.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Excellent service from building management to resolve issues quickly. There is almost always someone at the front desk and they are also very responsive via WhatsApp or the residents' portal.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Walk along the canal for a couple of minutes and there's a bridge which takes you to Wellington Place. A handy shortcut to the office!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area that surrounds Mustard Wharf is unmatched. There are coffee shops, bars, restaurants and supermarkets close by and plenty of open spaces to relax in the sun. There is little noise considering it is close to Leeds train station and the team keep all the grounds looking smart so it really is a beautiful place to walk around.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any issues I have experienced have been sorted straight away. When I first moved in, the apartment floor was sticky (likely due to the cleaning product used) and the team sent a cleaner immediately to clean this again. The rest of the apartment was spotless.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I was slightly reluctant to attend the onsite events in my first year, however after attending a craft class, I found these to be really inclusive and have since been to others. It also gave me the opportunity to meet other residents which is nice whilst I am walking around and see familiar faces.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Mustard Wharfs location was a huge selling point when we were looking for an apartment. It is very central and has plenty of amenities around, so feels nicer than others we saw on the outskirts of town. Recently BAKE opened on site and has fast become one of our favorite places. We decided to park locally rather than onsite which was cheaper, we also found we did not use our car as often as we did when we lived outside of the city.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have not had any issues with our apartment however the maintenance team are lovely. You will see them running around site, which is reassuring in the event anything was needed.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Make sure you use the discounts you receive for being a tenant, especially if it helps you discover new places. We visited Northern Monk Brewery recently as we get a discount and loved it! It has quickly become our new local and would never have found it without seeking it out.
