The house has a smart thermostat that learns the daily routine of when people are in and out and warms up in anticipation so the place is always well heated.
The washing machine is high tech, and very large at 10kg, you can monitor your wash with your smart phone and it weighs the laundry to adjust the cycle time, water and electricity consumption to suit the size of the load.
