Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location, frankly, couldn't be better. Right in the center of everything, but with some cool quiet streets in the vicinity. Restaurants aplenty, convenience stores, a couple smaller grocery stores - really everything you could ask for. And easy access to public transit, too - subway, bus, and rail are all within an easy walk. It can be a bit noisy on match day, and a bit intense to walk out onto busy urban streets, but the building always feels like a calm oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of the city.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I've had a couple of maintenance requests and some other issues and management has been helpful every single time. Responsive and thorough, with great follow-through and constant kindness, I really couldn't ask for more.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

As a foreign national, I didn't realize how many extra costs add up on top of rent. Council tax is a significant monthly expense, and utilities aren't the cheapest either. I'd still say this building is good value for money, but do be mindful of all the additional costs.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

My brother and I moved into Glasgow for college. We have looked everywhere for a decent flat, we couldn't find better than Candleriggs. The facilities and the staff are amazing. Saskia was wonderful. She was so patient with us and making sure we find the right flat for us that we can make it our home. Also she was good with recommending restaurants to dine in, you should ask her for recommendations ;). Thank you Saskia, and thank you Candleriggs team.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We haven't had any issues yet. Though any questions we had the staff were very welcoming to answer us

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Saskia did a great job during our view. She was very transparent about the development. We got what we have been told

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location but little noise outside ,There are also lovely open spaces nearby for outdoor activities

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Responsive but sometimes slow with maintenance. Lively area with great shops, restaurants, and transport links. Green spaces are nice, but parking is limited, and traffic noise can be an issue.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Traffic noise , Modern design with good facilities. Management is helpful, but maintenance can be slow. Clean and secure, but occasional noise from traffic and neighbors.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There are so many shops and restaurants around, as it is such a central location. Also there are extremely good transport links (Argyle Street / Glasgow Central).

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have not yet encountered any issues but anytime I have a general question or want the building management have been so friendly and always incredibly helpful.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I was offered everything I could have asked for prior to moving in, the staff set up a personalised video tour and helped me with questions relating to bills, Scottish council tax, and more.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

A great location - a stones throw away form some great bars / cafes / restaurants and from one of the main shopping streets. There’s always something to do nearby. Glasgow Green is lovely for a walk too. Only thing I wish we had been told (as we couldn’t view in person) is that there’s an Irish bar that plays live music and is quite rowdy until very late Thursday - Sunday which is right below our flat. All part of living in the city though.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Quickly and come round to help fix as soon as they can

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish we had been told about the Irish bar below the flat that plays live music really loud until very late half the week. We considered moving flats when we first moved in as it was unbearable and because it was warm we needed the window open to help cool the rooms down. We’re glad we won’t be living here in the summer for this reason!
