5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Very convenient for transport, shops and local pubs/restaurants. The street itself is fine but central Brighton in general does have a problem with antisocial behaviour and drug use. Luckily our flat is high enough above the street level as to not get any noise.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We've only had a small question about the windows and the team arranged a visit from maintenance very quickly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I'd known that the broadband would take a couple of weeks to be connected - I could've started this process before we moved in. It was probably only an issue because we were the first tenants.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Fantastic location and great transport links. On-site parking is unfortunately not available. There is a noisy (but great) pub next door, but the windows effectively block out the sound.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Arranging maintenance through the building app can be a little slow, though things are sorted in the end. Maria is great at booking in repairs right away if you mention a problem to her directly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Nothing to add. We have absolutely no regrets in moving here.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Very close to the station and in the north Laines at the base of London Road - amazing location can’t really be beat
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes very quickly, only some recurrent problems with the lift which can’t seem to be fixed
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Gym can get quite busy and it’s quite small - could use more equipment or a larger space

4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Location is absolutely amazing, it’s so close to the station and the centre of Brighton. There is no resident parking. Outside noise level is very acceptable considering it’s next to a lively pub (and that stops noise at 11pm most night anyway).
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Sometimes it can take a while to get things actioned, but it’s easy to chase up and it’s always eventually been sorted.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Wi-Fi is not included and can take some time to set up!

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Excellent location in the heart of town, close to everything. Going out in the day or evening is a breeze, everything is walking distance. Sometimes the street can be noisy in the evening or early morning (bin collection) but the sound proofing of the double glazing is excellent so this rarely disturbs
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Usually it takes 1 or 2 days for the lift to be repaired. I haven’t had any building issues in my apartment, everything has worked perfectly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Living centrally close to North Laine and station is really valuable.
