5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I've been living at The Casting for the past 3–4 months, and my experience has been nothing but positive. The building itself is lovely modern, clean, and very well-maintained. What really stands out, though, is the staff. They’re incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always approachable, which makes a huge difference when settling into a new place. One person who deserves a special mention is Andrea, one of the Community Hosts. She’s always warm, helpful, and genuinely goes out of her way to make residents feel at home. It's people like her who help create the positive atmosphere here. The local area is also a big plus. There's a great range of shops, restaurants, and bars within walking distance—whether you're after a quick coffee, a nice sit-down meal, or a lively evening out, there's something for everyone. There are also some nice open spaces nearby for walks, runs, or just to relax outdoors. Transport links are really convenient, with buses and train/tram connections nearby, making it easy to get around and into the city centre. It’s ideal for commuting or spontaneous weekend plans. Living on this street has also been a pleasant experience. Parking is generally available, bin collections are timely, and I’ve not encountered any issues with noise or anti-social behaviour. It’s a calm and safe-feeling environment. Overall, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time living at The Casting and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly, well-managed place with great amenities and an even better community.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Any issues found in the Building are dealt with quickly as long as they are reported to the Receptionist and other members of staff who work in the building
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The only issue I would raise with the building is the parking isn't the best and only has limited spaces, however there is plenty of parking spaces nearby where you can park without having to pay a certain fee

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
A great area with all amenities close by - 2 convenience stores and a large Aldi for groceries. Ancoats is 5- 10 minute walk with lots going on there - nice cafes and bakeries. Tram stop at New Islington is very close and Manchester Piccadilly Station is a short walk away - lots of shops and other facilities at the station including a Boots Chemist. I lived in this area many years ago and it has changed so much. All the new developments mean there are plenty of people around at all times so always feel safe.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
To date, I've not had any issues with my apartment but concierge staff are lovely and always ask if everything's OK and, if I did have an issue, I'm sure it would be dealt with promptly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Neither good nor bad but parking is very limited - both at the building itself (all spaces currently rented) and in the surrounding streets. I think this is just because the whole area is so popular now. I have managed to rent a parking space in an apartment building opposite via a parking app so this is a possibility for those who need a car. Otherwise, as noted above, there are ample public transport options.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area is a great place to live with a solid range of cafes, pubs and restaurants nearby without feeling like you're living on a very busy road. Nearby public transport is really good - Manchester Piccadilly is less than 10 minutes away. Street parking can be a bit of a challenge, especially in the evenings, but there are car parks nearby with some good deals for long term season passes. The street itself is quiet most of the time, with no noticeable anti-social behaviour or traffic noise.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
During my two months here I have not raised any issues (maintenance or other) which should be a testament to how well the building is built and run!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Despite there being so many residents you can usually find some quiet time in the gym. I was nervous moving in that it would be packed day and night but it's really not the case!

4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I think all the experience is perfect for me. Starting from first day In viewing and the process after that until taking the keys. after that start another trip which is a same first in beauty by being in community with a neighbours and trying to see many services in app. I would like finally to mention two names from the staff were helpful and so super in my journey; Chris and Roshny.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
as I said in general review I would appreciate to Chris and Roshany because they helped me in ever aspect or issue I faced it.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
application experience, that's you can do everything you want it .

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Everything about the location is great. It's close to the city's main train station and only a short walk from the centre of town.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They will always respond incredibly fast and solve the issue without fuss.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Not that it would have made a significant difference but knowing about future developments next door or the tram lines would've been helpful.
