Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in the Alma Development has been mostly positive. The area offers a decent range of local shops and supermarkets, and there are some lovely cafés and restaurants nearby—although more variety would be welcome. Open spaces like parks are well-maintained and great for walks or relaxing on weekends. Transport links are generally convenient, with easy access to buses and nearby train stations. Parking on the street can be tight at times, especially in the afternoons, but it's usually manageable. Bin collections are regular, and the street is fairly quiet with minimal antisocial behaviour. Traffic noise is low, which makes the area feel peaceful. Overall, it’s a pleasant and safe place to live with room for a few improvements.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has been excellent—always taking immediate action whenever an issue is raised. They’re also incredibly friendly and welcoming to furry friends, treating pets like part of the family, which makes a huge difference.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving in is just how warm and supportive the community and staff would be. It’s not something you can fully grasp from a viewing, but there’s a real sense of care here—from the way pets are welcomed to how quickly issues are resolved. It truly feels like home.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The location is very amazing. Transportation wise, one could reach to Aldgate East Station in 1 minute and Aldgate Station in 6 minutes. Bus Station is just across the street. Calling Uber or private transportation is easy and convenient as well. Life wise there are many markets around such as Tesco, Amazon Fresh, Sainsbury’s and 3 Chinese grocery stores. Also within 20 minutes walk one could get to Whitechapel market and the big Sainsbury’s. The dining is convenient in that it’s surrounded by at least 10-20 different kinds of fabulous restaurants.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Honestly I haven’t meet any problems yet but some small one like reserving for the private dining room they are very supportive and respond very quickly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The best thing is definitely to live like a home and here is the perfect home

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I chose Alma for multiple reasons, one is the location. Commuting is easy with two tube stations (4 lines) nearby and bus stops as well. Within 10 minutes walking you can get to Spitalfield and Brick Lane, for a wide variety of shops and restaurants. Groceries and bars abundant in the area.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The respond professionally and promptly to any concerns.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I cannot think of anything at the moment. I would say the cable service

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Convenient access to the city centre and tube station, with plenty of grocery stores nearby. It’s only a short walk to several restaurants, and there is a public communal space located right in front of the building.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I raised concerns about the balcony sliding door being stuck, and building management replied within an hour. Overall, I was satisfied with their prompt and effective response.
