5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Moving from the quiet countryside to Glasgow has been such a great experience. The best part has to be the how friendly everyone is – it's been so easy to settle in and feel right at home. Plus, the location is just unbeatable! Being right in the heart of things means the city centre and train station is practically on our doorstep, making it super easy to visit home and travel around different spots in Scotland, and the West End 30 mins away with cafes and shops etc. It's like having the best of both worlds.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Thankfully, we haven't encountered many significant issues since moving in. The only recurring problem has been with the bin chute, which, to be fair, seems to be more attributable to other resident misuse rather than any fault of the building management itself. More concerning was the recent malfunction of the parking shutter, which understandably raised security concerns. However, the building management team has been proactive in addressing this. They communicated the issue promptly and have assured residents that they are working diligently to resolve the problem and restore the security of the parking area. Their responsiveness, even with these minor incidents, has been reassuring.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
While the ease of settling in and the friendliness of everyone has been a pleasant surprise, knowing about the movie nights in the cinema room, social gatherings, or any other organised activities beforehand would have allowed us to get involved even sooner and feel connected to the community from day one.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
it is a good place near the City Centre of Glasgow, if you want to shopping or to the restaurants it takes only maybe 10 or 15 minutes by car
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
There are very kind and helpful, Dom and Joshua helped me set my TV. I highly recommend to send them a message to help with anything in your flat.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
It is everything I want in this building and it is very secure and safe to live.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
A locale shop would be ideal something under the premises? Maybe even a cafe/coffee shop Too? I think a bar would be fabulous also! It’s an amazing space and I really enjoyed when you opened up the office space at reception for an art event/gallery. That was really cool and invoked community engagement which is very rare in this era!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Quickly and efficiently. However when I wrote a cover letter about the lack of hot water first few weeks I didn’t get a response.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The cinema room rental seems a little steep! Thanks for everything otherwise
Manager's response5Hi Skye, Thanks so much for your review, to which we really appreciate you taking the time to write! I will pass on your positive comments to our fantastic team & please keep continuing to enjoy all of Holland Park amenities! Thanks again

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Our location is great - close to the centre, neighbourhood shops, parks and transport. Love it! It’s really quiet for its central location so we have very few issues.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Super responsive and very helpful. See my comments above.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
This is a new building so it’s going to take some settling into itself. I’m learning a lot about its design and features - make sure you read all the manuals on the app - so helpful!!!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
It is close to the motorway, close to amenities but tucked away far enough that there is no loudness from the busy streets round about. Parking is good but pricey and should be included in the rent of the apartment (i understand there are only so many spaces available). Bin chutes often not working due to blockages which leads to bad smells in the lift lobbies. Staff are excellent but i feel that the facility is understaffed and way to much is expected of the people that work here. Mark has been really helpful and always there to help and goes above and beyond as is Ross. However some staff can be a little detached.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Management team have responded very poorly, we also do not know the management on the same level we know the other staff, they do not try to get to know the residents.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
i wish i known how stretched the staff were so that i could manage my level of expectation
Manager's response5Hi Lesley, Thanks for your review. I'm sorry to hear you had a frustrating experience but I appreciate you taking the time to write the feedback. We set a high standard for ourselves, & we're sorry to hear this was not met in your interaction with the management. As you can see from other reviews, management & the team are known for taking ownership & caring deeply about our residents. I know we have spoken/communicated various times recently, so I would be more than happy to sit down to discuss further. You have my contact detail so please reach out, as I will with you. Warm Regards, Susan
