SITUATION The property is situated in a hamlet of period cottages near a farm with lovely rural surroundings and walks across the countryside immediately outside the door. It is a short drive away from Tetsworth and the market towns of Thame and Watlington. Junctions 6 and 7 of the M40 and Haddenham & Thame Parkway station are also easily accessible.

 

DESCRIPTION As you drive into Clare there is an area to park cars and then a short pathway leads to the end of terrace Victorian cottage which has been tastefully restored.

On the ground floor there is an entrance hall with an area to hang coats, a door leading through to the cosy living room and access to the stairs up to the first floor.

The living room has a quarry tiled floor and the feature working fireplace has been opened up to reveal a bread oven and also houses an energy efficient wood burner. The home office is accessed off this room and has its own window and shelving making it a pleasant space overlooking the rear garden area.

The kitchen has wooden flooring and is located at the back of the property and has a door which leads out onto the garden. It has been recently re-fitted with appliances which include a washing machine, fridge/freezer and cooker.

On the first floor are two double bedrooms, one of which has a Victorian (non working) fireplace. There is also a bathroom with bath with hand held attachment suitable for washing hair. No shower.

Outside there is a large garden area and picnic bench for the tenants to use and enjoy the views across the further communal area which has a footpath allowing access into the fields. There is also a shed with power for storage to the side of the property.
