Description

This delightful detached Cotswold stone property, built circa 1850, is situated in the picturesque village of Ascott-under-Wychwood, nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds. Originally two cottages, this property has been thoughtfully and sympathetically renovated, preserving its historic character while offering modern comforts. Featuring exposed stone walls and beams, this home exudes rustic charm and warmth.

A dual-aspect room with a stunning fireplace, the sitting room features a wood-burning stove, perfect for cosy evenings. A spacious dining hall adjacent to the kitchen provides ample room for family meals and entertaining. The well-appointed kitchen is fitted with a superb range of high-quality cabinets, ensuring both practicality and style. There is plenty of space for meal preparation and casual dining. The utility room is a practical space located just off the kitchen, ideal for laundry and additional storage. Accessed through the utility room is a modern shower room, providing convenience and functionality for everyday living.

Steps rise from the dining room to an exceptionally spacious landing, ideal as an office space, that leads to two well-proportioned bedrooms, one of which has built-in cupboards, and a well-appointed shower room. On the second floor are two further bedrooms, each with its own character, ideal for children and guests.

The beautifully maintained garden is south-facing, ensuring plenty of sunshine throughout the day. The manicured lawn, well-stocked flower beds and paved terrace create a serene and inviting outdoor space for relaxation and entertaining. A charming well within the garden adds a whimsical touch to the lovely garden. The property benefits from an ample driveway leading to a double garage with power in place for electric vehicle charging.
