Casale Valle Mastra (ref: 535), despite being only a few minutes drive from the shops and restaurants of Broccostella, is situated in a tranquil location that feels as though it is in the heart of the countryside. The views look across the green valley to the lake of Posta Fibreno, and the private park of more than 2 hectares which surrounds the house is well maintained, with very old olive trees, of which 50 are currently used for oil.

The house itself is on two levels, with a traditional layout. The ground floor has a central kitchen, with flanking rooms used as a dining room with a fireplace and a sitting room. Originally this level was two large rooms: it would be easy to remove the false wall between the kitchen and dining room for those who would prefer a large combined kitchen-dining area. The current dining room opens onto a small covered porch with a pizza oven, and both the kitchen and living rooms open onto another covered porch running along the side of the house. There is also a service bathroom accessible from the porch - very convenient for al fresco dining and garden parties.

The upper floor is accessed directly from the outside by a graceful flight of covered steps, and internally by an elegant ironwork spiral staircase. This level has two bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom, as well as a further covered porch.

There is also a useful storeroom attached to the side of the house, and a separate covered parking area.

The nearby dependance has a rustic kitchen and a porticoed area for dining.

The house requires internal updating and redecoration. It is predisposed for LPG heating, but this has not been installed.
