This house will always hold a special place in my heart, not only because it was the first property I ever purchased, but because of the 10 years of memories and contentment it has given me. As soon as I parked up for the viewing, I knew this house was the one. I loved its positioning, overlooking an open green space that was alive with spring colours and sounds, and when I entered the house, I felt its private and cozy feel straight away. There are no other houses overlooking you, from the front or the back, something the other houses I viewed did not benefit from. This house has never made me feel like I have to close the curtains for privacy, which has allowed me to enjoy a home bathed in natural light all year round.

My partner moved in with me in 2022 and to accommodate us both, we had the loft professionally renovated, with edge to edge boarding, lighting and an extended loft hatch with drop down ladder. It’s given us all important extra storage space and saved loads of couples quarrels about our stuff being everywhere!

We’ll both miss this house as our journey continues, but I'm absolutely sure that the next people that get this house will fall in love with it, just like we did.

Three Mile Cross is great location, offering the best of both worlds here, you have some fantastic countryside walks so close by and you can easily forget you are just a few minutes from Reading town centre itself. You have various local amenities within the village and some popular schools, making it a great area for families. There are bus links including Mereoak Park and Ride taking you directly into Reading and you are so well connected with the A33 and junction 11 of the M4 on your doorstep and lets not forget how close you are to Green Park Business district & train link, making this an excellent commuter spot for London too.
