Vendor Comments
We bought this house as first-time buyers over 4.5 years ago and we've loved every moment in our home. We were immediately attracted to the garden which we've been able to have many a BBQ in over the years. The house has room for two cars on the drive which is unique on the road itself and plenty of additional street parking for guests if you're having a party.
There are some fantastic amenities all within walking distance of our front door. There are corners shops at either end of the road and plenty of local takeaways. We are also conveniently only a 20-minute walk from Solihull town centre which has been great when we've wanted to pop out during lunch for a coffee or stroll back home after a few drinks with friends.
There is also a fantastic park on Damson Lane which we love taking our dog to for a run around. You can also get onto the canal just round the corner and within a few minutes you can be in the wonderful countryside by Catherine-de-Barnes. In the summer, we often walk down the canal to The Boat pub in Catherine-de-Barnes and have even walked as far as Knowle and Lapworth on occasion.
The house is located perfectly for transport links, local bus routes to take you into Birmingham City Centre, Birmingham Airport and the NEC are less than 15 minutes away which is great for if you love holidays as much as us. We also regularly walk to Solihull Station for our commute into Birmingham. The walk is about 25 - 30 minutes. Solihull train station provides links to Birmingham, Worcester and London on direct routes so great for the commute but also if day trips down in London.
We have loved our time in our home, and it's been coupled with having great neighbours either side as well. We've created some amazing memories and moments in this home, and we are sure the new owners will be as happy here as we have been.
