Description
Comment from Robert Reed of Gascoigne Halman
Want a house of character but don't want the hassle and stress of an older building? Do you love walking in glorious countryside? Are you seeking a home with quick legal completion available? If the answer to these questions are yes, then this super home at the front of the Forest Edge development will be sure to be of appeal. This unique development was completed in 2023 and is nestled amongst some of Cheshire's best countryside in the heart of Delamere Forest.
This house benefits from a fantastic layout and design. Cobnut Homes specifically chose to work with Sarah Aspinall of Beeston Aspinall Architects. Sarah has deservedly built up a best in class reputation for the design of homes that blend architectural and aesthetic excellence with contemporary layouts that are exactly in line with the requirements and needs of families at various different stages of life. The end results are stunning and become immediately obvious.
This is also a developer with a difference. They have invested not just considerable capital into creating this home and of the wider development, but also their hearts and souls into every single aspect of the build process. Cobnut Homes are a family business who both live in and care greatly about the locality. The creation of Forest Edge was the completion of a long term project which has seen the transformation of the site from a previous empty school into a stunning example of modern architectural and landscaping excellence
Another key element here is the impressive environmental credentials. A key example of this is the air source heat pump, which offers significant advantage and is a long term, future proof solution. In addition, the house enjoys excellent quality windows and impressive levels of insulation.
The level of finish? Whether it be the beautiful tiles, the fabulous feature window in the garden room, the superb bathrooms or the extra large patios, those with an eye for detail and quality will be sure to impressed. I also love the fact that the open plan kitchen / garden rooms form the focal point of living in this lovely house.
With direct access on foot into Delamere Forest, with no need for a car, this location creates a unique lifestyle opportunity which is to be enjoyed and treasured. Central yet rural, beautiful yet accessible, it is provides a perfect position for those who enjoy countryside, nature and rural walks.
