Cubben House is a truly magical,16th century cottage, set In a generous 1.75 acre plot, on the edge of the Miterdale Forest and close proximity to Scafell Pike, England's highest mountain, in one of the most picturesque landscapes in the Lake District National Park.

With records dating back to the early Sixteenth Century Cubben House is one of the oldest properties in the valley. Owned originally for over 200 years by the Lords of Irton Manor the house was then bought in the early eighteen hundreds by Cumberland Yeomen farmers who lived here for five generations. The property has been sympathetically restored and updated but retains a huge amount of charm and character throughout.
