Description
Jon-Paul Brampton presents....Pleasant View Cottages, Victorian charm with parking, large garden and views, in picturesque Pitstone
the property
This two bedroom Victorian cottage is beautifully located with stunning views over National Trust land to the front, whilst boasting off street parking and a sensational garden to the rear.
The property itself is set behind a pretty cottage garden to the front with cast iron railings and box hedging providing a charming kerb appeal and attractive outlook. A small entrance hall with drop latch door allows some separation from the living room as you enter, as well as proving somewhere to hang coats and discard shoes. The living room itself is framed by a large bay window which really makes the most of the outlook and allows the light to pour in to make this a truly bright space. An exposed brick fireplace houses a cast iron wood burning stove which sits centre stage, creating a focal point and creating a cosy vibe for those colder months.
The room has been historically opened up to created a double length space which allows for a large dining area beyond the living room. There is a further exposed brick fireplace providing more charm and character to this lovely home. A rear lobby leads to the galley style kitchen. A smartly presented space with ample storage and space for all the utilities you would expect. There is also a door which leads out to the rear driveway and garden.
The bathroom is situated downstairs and offers a beautifully maintained white bathroom suite.
Upstairs there are two good size double bedrooms. The main bedroom is to the front and benefits from built in wardrobes and simply stunning views to front.
A gravel driveway to the side provides access to the parking area at the rear, with ample parking for two vehicles. A gate leads through to a secure and quite frankly stunning rear garden. Large in size and benefitting from a large lawn with raised deck seating areas with mature and well maintained borders. Its position and aspect makes it a particularly secure and private space, one where you can imagine hosting friends and family in the warmer months and making the most of the space you have, All in all a truly lovely home whether you are a first time buyers, second home mover or downsizer! But please do not just take my word for it, watch the video tour, browse the photos and read the description. And then if you think this could be the home for you then please get in touch to arrange a viewing.
the location
Pleasant View Cottages are a collection of four Victorian Cottages situated on the Marsworth Road with views towards the Pitstone Windmill and the famous ancient Ridgeway beyond.
In terms of location, Pitstone has a lot to offer. A small village in Buckinghamshire which is adjoined to the picturesque Ivinghoe. There is the quintessential Cricket pitch and recreational ground nearby, with a local shop and cafe just a stones' throw away. The amenities of Ivinghoe High Street are not far away where you'll find a Post Office, Library, Florist and Pharmacy. A Doctors surgery is about a 10 minute stroll, as is the popular Freehouse, The Rose & Crown.
