Location

Playa Blanca is located at the southern tip of Lanzarote and is only a 30 minute drive from the airport. The town is full of excellent bars, shops and restaurants, where all nationalities are welcome and catered for, but also has a tranquil atmosphere, suitable for all ages. Playa Blanca boasts some of the best beaches on the island such as the ones located at Papagayo, Flamingo and Playa Dorada; plus the vibrant area of Marina Rubicon. The seafront walkway stretches all along the bay of Playa Blanca. There is an excellent local bus service which runs from the lighthouse to Papagayo. It is easy to access the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura via the regular ferry service.
