This iconic Rossmoor home has a "Mid-Century Modern" design & is situated on an 8,400 sq. ft. lot at the corner of Rossmoor Way and Weatherby Road; this was one of the original "Model homes" built by Ross Cortese, the original developer for the community of Rossmoor in Orange County, CA. The "Starlite" model was modern in its design and concept in 1957, offering perimeter forced air heating, Van Luit hand-painted wallpaper that could be customized to fit your color scheme, tall windows, & an electric kitchen. While the home is mostly original, the furnace was replaced approximately two years ago, & in keeping with the aesthetics of the home, the vents are situated at the perimeter of each room, just as the original floor plan did. The home still has the exposed beams in the living room & the custom fireplace personalized to fit the style of the Starlite model.
