Description
Description
In 1999 complete renovations were begun on the barn dating from the 18th century and combining the farmhouse to transform the site into Spicers Farm, a unique and stunning period property steeped in history but benefitting from modern conveniences.
These two properties are now joined as one with the different ages been brought together using clever glass walkways which have the added advantage of serving as picture windows from which to admire the wrap around gardens.
The drawing room is housed in the barn, resplendent with its mezzanine floor and with huge capacity for entertaining.
The garden room just outside the kitchen/ breakfast room is a wonderful space to relax. The rest of this floor comprises three bedrooms one with an en suite and a bathroom, utility room and cloakroom.
Upstairs there are two further bedrooms one with an en suite and a large family bathroom.
The grounds extend around the house and include a lovely spring meadow garden as well as space for a summer house and a detached double garage.
