Description
Situated in the popular and pleasant village of Cilmery, which is only two miles from the thriving market town of Builth Wells, Kimberley has been dramatically extended over the years to provide extensive ground floor accommodation with disabled access, downstairs bedroom and shower room.
The property has gated vehicular access from the A483 which opens up into a parking and turning area, leading up to a detached timber garage. The front door of the property is protected from the elements by a canopy porch and the front door opens up into an entrance hallway with understairs storage cupboard and door into the main reception room. This is a cosy space with feature fireplace which currently houses an electric stove, but could be opened back up to install a woodburning stove. There are dual aspect windows allowing natural light in. The entrance hallway also gives access into a large kitchen/dining room which spans the depth of the property, and enjoys ample space for food preparation, cooking and dining. An opening to the rear of the kitchen which leads into the a rear corridor, and in turn on to a utility/garden room, with door to the rear garden and access into the downstairs shower room. The rear corridor also leads into an impressive music room, with two doors into the grounds, a small woodburning stove and access into the downstairs bedroom, located right at the back of the property.
On the first floor, there are three bedrooms, two of which are doubles and a good-sized single, as well as a large family bathroom. The views in particular from the first floor stretch out for miles over the village and countryside beyond.
Externally, the property has the benefit of the aforementioned parking area and garage to the front, and there are large level gardens to the rear. Laid mainly to lawn, the gardens are private and laid mainly to lawn with mature shrubbery and trees. There are raised flower beds, a patio area and it borders farmland on two sides. We have been made aware that planning was gained within the grounds of the property for an additional dwelling, however this has since lapsed.
Viewings are highly recommended on this family home with plenty of living space, and plenty to enjoy in the gardens!
Telephone & Broadband: Telephone- subject to BT transfer regulations. According to comparethemarket.com the property has a broadband speed of: 150.10 Mbps (average speed of Mbps).
