Description

Off the driveway a gate leads to the garden room which is used for daily access. A door opens in to the Oak beamed room with floor to ceiling windows looking out over the garden, bi-folding doors to the patio area and windows looking out towards the fields opposite. The garden room leads to a country style kitchen/dining room. The kitchen has a range of wall and base units with built in appliances, a breakfast bar and exposed oak beams. The dining area has a dual aspect outlook over the garden. The kitchen leads to the sitting room with a large Inglenook fireplace, home to the original bread oven. The double windows in the sitting room offer excellent views over the countryside beyond. From the hallway, stairs lead up to the first floor. Completing the ground floor is a utility room and a separate downstairs shower room.

On the first floor the landing offers plenty of built in storage and acts as a great reading area. The principal bedroom is a double room offering a dual aspect over the garden and fields, with built in storage space. Bedroom 2 has a vaulted ceiling showcasing beautiful oak beams, with a window looking out over the garden. Bedroom three serves as an excellent nursery or study.

Outside the property is approached via gates, leading to a gravel driveway with ample parking for multiple vehicles. There are electrics available, if one wished to install electric gates. There is a large double door garage, home to a BP Pulse EV charger and outside log store, with potential to develop, subject to the usual consents. The mezzanine level is accessed via a hatch at the rear of the garage. The garden has been thoughtfully landscaped to make the most of the countryside views with flowers and shrub's flowering throughout the year. There is a paved area perfectly located for alfresco dining in the evening sunshine. The rest of the garden is mainly laid to lawn, with mature hedging providing privacy. The front garden has been designed to capture the eye, with seasonally blooming shrubs and flowers. Completing the outside garden space is a modern garden room, with electricity and an aircon system, providing cooling and heating, currently serving as a home office.

Opposite the property there are a further two single garages, with parking either side.

Oakley Court offers a characteristic collection of properties, thoughtfully converted and newly built on the site of a former school. These homes are set around a picturesque orchard and an expansive flower meadow, providing Oakley Court residents use of this stunning space, right at their doorstep.

Additionally, residents have the option to maintain an allotment on the adjacent land, enhancing the sense of community and connection to nature.
