Description

INVITING OFFERS BETWEEN £230,000-£250,000

Summary:
Welcome to Willow Court, a two-bedroom semi-detached dormer bungalow brimming with potential in a peaceful cul-de-sac. While it’s ready for a little modernisation, the property features a traditional kitchen with a breakfast bar, a spacious lounge filled with natural light. With two downstairs bedrooms and a generous upstairs space, this home also features a lovely rear garden, a garage, and a front lawn, offering a great opportunity for its new owners.

Our Thoughts:
Willow Court is a delightful find for anyone looking to add their personal touch to a home with character! This dormer bungalow, nestled at the head of a quiet cul-de-sac, is all about space and light. The traditional kitchen with its breakfast bar is just waiting for someone to whip up a Sunday brunch. The downstairs bedrooms are ideal for guests or those who prefer to avoid stairs, while the upstairs double bedroom comes with additional space for extra storage. The south-facing garden is a gem, providing a sunny spot to relax and unwind, and it’s nice to know it’s not overlooked. With a garage and easy access to local amenities, schools, and transport links, this property is a fantastic opportunity for families looking to settle down in a lovely community.

Owners Thoughts:
Willow Court was our family home for more than 50 years and we enjoyed the flexibility it provided for every stage of our lives and changing lifestyles. It’s bright and spacious rooms were used differently over the years as our needs and desires changed - the downstairs bedrooms were at different times as rooms for young children, a study and a downstairs bedroom for an older person. The two full bathrooms provided further flexibility and the large walk-in loft space, which many neighbours converted into additional bedrooms, provided us with a storage space for a whole range of sporting equipment and hobby paraphernalia.

Situated at the head of a small cul-de-sac with friendly neighbours and a lovely open view, it has a quiet location away from the main road but within walking distance of two good schools, local shops and amenities and public transport, making it the perfect for families or older people.

Most of all we loved the large patio door in the rooms at the rear of the house, which provide uninterrupted views of the south-facing rear garden, a wonderful sun trap with a peaceful, private and pretty garden. It provided a perfect space for the many social events that we shared there over the years.
