The residence is in a picturesque village of the municipal unit Keramia of the municipality Chania, just 15 minutes' drive south from the city center. The village is semi-mountainous and has mainly permanent residents as well as some traditional taverns in a short radius outside the village. A cobbled alley reaches the property that is surrounded by dry-stone walls and very tall oak trees while you can leave your vehicle on the road at a distance of about 50 m.

The plot is fenced and ideal if you have children as it is all on one level, just like the house. It is also suitable if you want to keep your pets there. Flower beds have been created around the house as well as a large stone-paved courtyard with unobstructed views to the village, over the surrounding plains and up to the White Mountains in the background. The house is detached from all sides so you can relax under the shade or the sun at any time of the day. Three independent external warehouses with a total area of 17 m² have been built around the house. The property has enough remaining buildable area, which allows you to expand the existing spaces or even add an upper floor.

The house is ideal for a family or if you simply want to acquire a country house just outside the city and with direct access to the wild Cretan landscape. In 10 minutes' drive we find Nerokourou and Tsikalaria at an equal distance, where you will find everything you need for your daily living. Within 15 minutes' drive is also Mournies, with a junction of the northern highway of Crete, from where you can very easily go to any other location outside the city. The village has a road that goes east and reaches the picturesque villages of the municipality of Apokoronas as well as the beautiful beach of Kalyves within 20-25 minutes' drive.
