More extensive amenities are available from Newbury and Basingstoke, both of which are within 10 miles. Junction 4 of the M4 is located just 6 miles to the northeast of the farm which provides excellent access to the wider transport network. Newbury and Basingstoke both have mainline rail stations and nearby international airports include London Heathrow (38 miles), London Gatwick (70 miles) and London Stanstead (94 miles).
The area is well known for its excellent range of independent and state sector schools which include Elstree School, Padworth College, Bradfield College, The Winchcombe School and The Hurst School all within a 15 mile radius.
