Penmaenmawr is only 10 miles to the West of Llandudno and 13 miles East of Bangor. The town is located just off the A55 which is the main thoroughfare across the North Wales coast and travels East towards the North West of England. The town can also be accessed via the Sychnant Pass through the mountains that form part of the Snowdonia National Park. There are a number of pubs and restaurants and you can enjoy a walk along the sandy beaches or take a walk on the quarried mountain that is the dramatic backdrop to the town. The high street has a range of eclectic shops and a school and there is also a host of wildlife to enjoy in the area included Carneddau ponies to the National Park and dolphins to the sea. Penmaenmawr also has a golf course and club to enjoy.
