We loved the neighbourhood and the friendly community. The place has excellent public transport connections: Seven Sisters tube/overground is 600m and South Tottenham overground 200m away. Tottenham Hale (Stansted Express) is one stop by tube and Oxford Circus only six (Victoria Line). There are many independent shops, restaurants, cafes and bars in walking distance around the West Green Road, Seven Sisters station and Markfield Park areas. Otherwise, Stoke Newington Church Street with its buzzing restaurants, bars and pubs is just a few bus stops. Large supermarkets are nearby as are good local convenience stores and shops. We also enjoyed visiting parks in the area or going for walks and cycle rides in the wetlands and along the River Lea, which is only 800m away.
