Exchange Residential was set up in 2000 to provide a reliable and professional management and lettings service in Newcastle upon Tyne. The company was initially intended to manage the properties of parent company, property development and investment business, Adderstone Group. However, as word of mouth spread, we quickly started taking on instructions from other landlords that had heard and been impressed with our service.

Today, Exchange Residential has evolved into one of the largest residential management agencies within the North East of England with hundreds of properties on our books. We cater for a wide range of both private and public clients, landlords and tenants.

Newcastle upon Tyne - city centre

Over the past few years there has been a vast amount of new build and redevelopment in the city with many buildings which were previously used for commercial purposes now being renovated into living accommodation. Rialto

Completed in 2006, this new build development comprises a mix of one to five bedroom apartments, with some underground parking available. Located in the heart of the city centre, Rialto is the ideal location for students as it is within a few minutes walking distance to both universities.

Waterloo House

In 2006, the Adderstone Group converted Waterloo House, a former Victorian Warehouse, into 31 beautiful apartments each of which are completely unique and incorporate many original features. Located next to Rehearsal Rooms, the apartments are set in an excellent location and would suit a variety of people with its very close proximity to both Newcastle and Northumbria universities and access to the city centre. Gateshead Quayside

Worsdell House

Conversion of a historic listed Railway Club into 25 modern stylish apartments. This development was completed in 2007 and is located next to the Hilton Hotel on the Gateshead side of the Tyne bridge. The walk into Newcastle takes just 10 minutes, and you can reach Newcastle Quayside in less than five.
