On approach, this superb home offers a delightful frontage and masses of kerb appeal with a double electric wrought iron gate, a long driveway with gardens on either side, full of plants, flowers and mature trees, a double garage, and space to park several vehicles. Stepping through the front door, you’re immediately wowed by the vaulted ceilings, large windows, and high quality seen throughout.

The sitting room is a bright, spacious area with beautiful floor to ceiling windows, a Velux window in the vaulted ceiling, and sliding double doors to the side garden. There are stairs to the first floor, access through to the rest of the downstairs accommodation, and a door to a shower room, comprising a shower, WC, hand wash basin, vanity unit and sauna.

The kitchen/breakfast room is a stunning and modern space with an extensive range of white base and wall units, a kitchen island, breakfast bar, pretty tiled splashbacks, wood flooring, a double sink, inset spotlights, space for an American fridge/freezer, and many integrated appliances, including a dishwasher, double oven, hob, and microwave. There is space for storage units, decorative elements, and there are doors through to the front of the property as well as the utility room. The utility room enjoys further base and wall units, a sink, door to the front of the property, and space for further kitchen appliances such as a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The lounge is a truly magnificent area, with beautiful vaulted ceilings, inset spotlights, French doors, and almost 2 walls full of windows looking out into the rear garden. The feature fireplace is incredibly pretty, housing a wood-burning stove, hearth and feature bressummer beam, and there is copious amounts of space for a variety of living room furniture and storage. Across the hallway, the dining area is equally a large and spectacular space, with 6 windows to a dual aspect, plush cream carpets, and a door through to the rear garden.

Up the stairs to the first floor, there is a pretty open brick wall leading out onto the long mezzanine landing area, with multiple storage cupboards, Velux windows, and doors leading to 4 double bedrooms, each with their own integrated wardrobes, and a stunning family bathroom comprising a bath with shower attachment, corner shower, WC, hand wash basin, vanity unit, and attractive tiled walls. The master bedroom is particularly large and beautiful, with 2 large windows to a dual aspect, vaulted ceilings, and a generously-sized en-suite with a shower, WC, hand wash basin and heated towel rail.

Outside, to the rear, this wonderful property continues to impress with a gorgeous garden, spanning around to the sides of the house, and an ornate paved patio with brick seating area, perfect for entertaining guests or soaking up the sun. The garden itself is extensive, completely private, and laid to lawn with a myriad of plants, mature trees, bushes, hedgerows and wood fencing. There is access through to the triple garage and shed, with the further potential to extend the property subject to the correct planning permissions.

Existing as a settlement for over a thousand years with evidence of Romano-British activity, Bourn has enjoyed a rich and vibrant history. Today it is an incredibly popular village with interesting attractions, community clubs, and things to do, such as Bourn Windmill and Wysing Arts Centre.
