Description

Dating back to the early 20th century, Lenchwick House was formerly part of the Duc d’Orleans estate.

This substantial, detached, period property has recently been reconfigured and refurbished throughout, providing immaculately presented accommodation over two floors whilst maintaining period features such as sash windows and carved fireplaces. The property boosts flexible, spacious accommodation allowing any potential purchaser to adapt the property to their own specific needs.

Entering the property via the welcoming entrance hall, you are struck with the feeling of volume and grandeur. To the left hand side is a cosy sitting space, with feature fireplace. A recent extension provides a spacious garden room which enjoys views of the gardens, paddocks and surrounding countryside with several bi-folding doors out onto the private terrace. The sitting room wraps around the central fireplace, providing a spacious entertaining space with a sensational bay window overlooking the garden.

The kitchen/dining room has been reconfigured to provide a fantastic ‘hub of the home’ room, with ample space for a dining table and chairs, perfect for entertaining and family life. There is an abundance of built in storage and appliances including three ovens, wine fridge and a plate warmer. A useful larder provides additional storage, and a utility room provides space for outdoor life.
A study with built shelving units, a cinema room and downstairs cloakroom completes the ground floor.

Leading from the grand entrance hall, the staircase ascends to the first floor. There are six double bedrooms, three of which are en suite. A principal bedroom enjoys dual aspect views, a dressing area and en suite bathroom. A family bathroom completes the first floor accommodation.

The garden wraps around Lenchwick House, providing a private space to enjoy the far reaching countryside views and outlook over paddocks. The gardens are predominantly laid to lawn with mature shrubs and hedgerows. Adjacent to the house is a gravelled parking area with space for a number of cars and access to the double garage.
Adjacent to the house are the paddocks, mainly fenced with post and rail, most having access to mains water.
