Mendlesham is a small village surrounded by the rolling Suffolk countryside and with a strong community spirt, supporting a pub, shop, church, doctors' surgery and primary school. Stowmarket (6 Miles) has a wider variety of amenities on offer as well as a mainline railway station on the London Liverpool Street to Norwich line and the smaller market town of Diss (11 miles) offers a similar range of amenities including an 18 hole golf club
