Description

For sale by Public Auction on Thursday 26th September 2024 at Leigh Court, Pill Road, Abbots Leigh, BS8 3RA and online at 7.00pm.

An interesting portfolio of circa 350+ freehold reversion interests owned by The Barry Dock Town Syndicate Limited (in Liquidation), including circa 12 parcels of land to be sold across two Lots. The portfolio is being offered to market following the liquidation of The Barry Dock Town Syndicate Limited following the death of the individual responsible for managing the company’s affairs. The portfolio is split across 5 ‘estates’ which were acquired independently over a long period of time, and the freehold reversions offered for sale contain the remaining interests in those estates. The titles are situated in various locations within the town of Barry, located in the Vale of Glamorgan, Wales which is on the north coast of the Bristol Channel approximately 9 miles south-southwest of Cardiff.

This Lot includes the sale of all remaining freehold title reversions included within Estate 5, Estates 1 – 4 are being offered as a separate Lot. Over the 5 estates, there are a number of streets wherein it is believed interests are retained. Further information and documentation will be contained within the legal pack and the remaining interests must be confirmed by the buyer or their solicitor after reviewing the pack. Records in relation to ground rents are unavailable and the liquidators have not been able to continue the administration of the company or collect ground rents for some time due to the nature of the sale and the lack of information and documentation, however, it is believed that there may be potential significant scope to earn an income from these ground rents (the buyer must satisfy themselves that such an income is permissible). Please note, the liquidators make this offer without personal liability and without guarantee or warranty given their position as liquidators.

This is a very interesting Lot presenting an exciting opportunity for the investor!

Please Note
If you are attending the auction in person there is plenty of free parking at the venue.
