Description

"We've put our heart and soul into renovating our house over the last 7 years, creating a calm and tranquil home that is an escape from city life. We love having St George's Park on our doorstep, which along with Troopers Hill and Conham River Park make for a lovely stroll with the dog. It's been an amazing street to live on, with a strong community spirit, and we've really enjoyed being able to pop to the nearby pubs, restaurants and cafés on Church Road with our friends and neighbours.”

Seneca Street is situated in St George, between Church Road and Avonview Cemetery, which occupies a large space above the River Avon and its riverside walks. St George’s Park is across Church Road from Seneca Street and is one of the city’s most popular parks providing a kids play area, tennis courts, a cafe, a skate park, and a lake. St George has many exciting independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, with Seneca Street close to the popular Red Church and Orchard Café. On from this, the much loved Bristol Loaf and The Lock-Up are staples in this community. The shops and cafes of Easton are also easily accessible via the Bristol to Bath cycle path, including East Bristol Bakery, Garden of Easton, and Bristol Sweet Mart. There are several well-regarded schools in the area, meaning this is a popular area with families. For commuters, it is a short journey into Bristol City Centre by bus, bike or car, whilst also being just a short drive from Bath and the motorway networks as well. From this side of the City Centre, Bristol Temple Meads is just a short journey away.

Located at the end of a terrace, this beautiful three bedroom Victorian house has been lovingly renovated by the current owners. The ground floor flows around an oak staircase that runs through the middle of the house and features a sociable open plan kitchen dining room with typically high ceilings and attractive tiles which give off a real rural vibe. The front sitting room is a really cosy space and has a fitted log burner, bay window and exposed hardwood floorboards. At the back of the property is the well ventilated bathroom which has a separate shower as well as a fitted bathtub. The back garden has been decked and elevated to get plenty of sunlight. There is also side access and a bike store for anyone looking to wheel bikes directly into the garden. Upstairs there are three generously sized double bedrooms; the master is at the front of the house and spans the width of the building. The other two bedrooms are located towards the back of the house, both able to fit double beds. The owners have also utilised the recess above the stairs to create an additional desk space which benefits from plenty of natural light.
